Exhibit

This summer Shawinigan Space presents the World premier of the exhibition ecH2O. Virtuoso of the insitu installation artist Richard Purdy, resident of the region and professor of Art at the Université du québec à Trois-Rivières, proposes a reflection on the complex and multiform nature of the element H2O on our planet and in our cultures. As an echo is the reflection of a sound, Purdy offers us a visual refection on water through three monumental and surprising installations. Indeed, the work of Art is the unique space of the aluminium fabrication installation still existing in North America. The project is directed by Robert Trudel, Executive Director of the Cité d'énergie and the curator is Denis Charland, Artistic Director of the Art Édition Le Sabord.
